The Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre (or the Holy Community of the All-Holy Sepulchre) is an Orthodox monastic fraternity that for centuries has guarded Christian Holy places in the Holy Land.
They are recruitable in Crusader Kings II as the only Orthodox Christian Holy order.
The Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre is created through an event that fires when the counties of Antioch and Jerusalem are both owned by Orthodox rulers and have been converted to the Orthodox faith.
Army Composition[]
The Holy order's army is composed of 55% Heavy Infantry, 27% Cavalry and 18% Archers.
Trivia[]
- Unlike most of the other non-fictional Holy Orders in the game (except the Knights Hospitaller and the Teutons), the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre survives as a religious order to the current day.
- The Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre is not to be confused with the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, which is a Catholic knightly order (and has also survived to this day) .
