K asturias

De jure territory of Asturias

A ruler requires 2 duchy titles, plus at least 51% (3) of the 5 de jure counties to create Asturias. In addition, a significant amount of gold and piety is required to create Asturias.

Creating Asturias grants the creator 400 prestige.

Unique Mechanics[]

Asturias to León (requires The Old Gods DLC) - Until 924 León was known as Asturias. The royal court was moved to the city of León and the kingdom became known by the same name. A ruler of Asturias can mimic this change by moving the capital to Leon. If he or she also holds the two duchies of Asturias and Leon, he or she can make a decision which changes the name and coat of arms of the realm to those of León. The title history and de jure territoy of Asturias carries over to León.
